Weekend in the Poconos

Our very first weekend in Pennsylvania was spent in the Poconos. We were invited to go up with 4 other couples and stay at the historic Skytop Resort. The resort was built in the 1920's and was so gorgeous. We stayed in a cottage right on the golf course. From what I gather, the people that vacation there are mostly from Jersey or New York. Jake and I were so thankful to be invited to go and meet some new friends!

I went up early with the girls on Friday afternoon. We went to the store and got the food for the weekend then relaxed in the hot tub. The guys got there later on Friday evening...just in time for dinner! 

We had a blast hiking on Saturday! The waterfalls were gorgeous!

The guys wanted to jump off some rocks into the water...but it wasn't deep enough.

We came across this snake eating a fish...pretty crazy!

Good food, campfires, s'mores, great company, hot tubbing, lounging, hiking, and lots of laughing...It was a great weekend!
