Locks of Love

I have always wanted to donate my hair, but have been so impatient for it to grow out! For some reason, I have actually enjoyed growing my hair out for the past couple of years, but I have finally gotten to the point where I felt it was time to chop it off! I think part of it has to do with the fact that it takes wayy too long to blow dry, but another part is that since Jake and I are starting a new chapter of life in PA, why not start a new hair style?

So, I found a really cute organic salon a mile a way from where we are living in Bethlehem. I love that their hair color is ammonia free and certified organic!

I didn't realize how refreshing this hair cut was until I put the before and after pictures side by side. Yikes, I needed the cut bad! I chopped off a total of 15 inches! I was only planning to get 10"-13" cut off (10" in the minimum to donate), but my stylist just kept cutting away! I do like it though so I'm not mad!

Jake has been asking me to cut my hair short and get highlights like this since last summer because I had a similar cut to this when Jake and I first met. How cute!
