Pink Pearl

I grew a Hyacinth orientalis Pink Pearl...the bulb sat in the vase in the back of our fridge for 12 weeks and when the roots were developed and the shoot was about 1 1/2" tall, I took it out of the fridge and placed it in our sun room. That same day I left for Caleb's graduation in Knoxville and was gone for 4 days. This is what it looked like when I put it in the sun room:



And this is what I came home to 4 days later!



It was beautiful! Unfortunately, it didn't survive the move from Nebraska to Pennsylvania.
