Baby's First Christmas

Abigail's first Christmas was so fun! We were at home in Knoxville and Grandma and Grandpa Haney were here from Florida. We went to the Christmas eve service at church and then we had everyone over for dinner. Christmas morning was spent at our house and then we spent the afternoon/evening at my parents' house.

It was so warm on Christmas eve! I wore a sleeveless shirt to church!

Eleven Months

Your personality is really coming through...you love giggling, playing peek-a-boo and being tickled.

You are starting to stand up unassisted for a few seconds at a time. If we hold your hands while you are standing, sometimes you will take a few little steps. I guess this means you will be walking soon!

If you aren't playing with baby toys in the family room, then you are in the kitchen. You love to play in the tupperware cabinet, with the dishes in the dishwasher, with measuring cups and wooden spoons, and with drawers and cabinet doors. We finally put baby locks on some of the cabinet doors, so now you just yank and yank on them.

You love looking at books, turning pages and being read to. Your Daddy is very animated when reading you books!

You love bananas, oranges and cheerios. You also like spinach pretty well!

Baby's First Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving in Fair Hope, Alabama with Grammy, Uncle Brad, Grant, Jessica, Josiah, Lillian and Cora. We had a great trip and Abigail was awesome in the car. We left Knoxville at night so Abigail would sleep most of the way there, and she did!

Fair Hope is such a quaint town. The restaurants, boutiques, shops, bay area and beautiful homes are all very quaint. The weather was beautiful so we enjoyed walks, visiting the pier, playing at the park, and a girl's shopping trip downtown.
