2010 In Review

2010 was a big year! Here is a high-level overview...

New years - Jake Proposed while I was visiting him in Omaha for the first time!

I got to take a little vacation to Orlando at the end of January. It was amazing going from snowy Ohio to sunny Florida. Jake was already down there on business and Jessica, Grant and the kids also came down. We all stayed with John and Alma. It was a wonderful time. The weather was so perfect, I slept on the screened-in porch!

My family moved from Canton, OH to Knoxville, TN in March. Caleb was such a trooper moving in the middle of his junior year of high school. (this picture was taken on Easter off of my parents' deck at the new house)

I finished up my last semester at Cedarville University with some of my most amazing friends!

And then graduated on May 1st!

Then I took a road trip to Florida with 4 friends from high school

Then I moved out to Omaha and started working in Leadership Development at Peter Kiewit Sons, Inc. Chris and Natalie were kind enough to open their home to me for the 4 months I lived in Nebraska before Jake and I got married. 

My brother, Seth, and Emily got married in August! The picture below was from their rehearsal dinner.

Then Jake and I got married in October!

Jake and I honeymooned in Mexico!

We spent the week of Thanksgiving in Knoxville

For Christmas, Jake and I drove from Omaha to Indianapolis...then to Canton...then to Lucasville...then back to Indianapolis...and then made the drive back to Omaha. I think it was about 30 total hours of driving in 5 days! Yikes! It was worth it though!

Jeff and Susan from Dallas came to Omaha for New Years!!
