Catching Up...

I cannot believe it is mid-October. I don't know where the time has gone. Jake and I have been in Tennessee for almost 5 months now! Hard to believe.

We loved being able to spend some of our summer weekends on Lake Norris with my family. Since I busted my ear drum at the beginning of the summer, I tried to avoid getting lake water in my ears so I spent most of my lake time tubing, trying to water ski, swimming and floating on a tube.

Jake got to take his jet ski out for the first time in a couple years (the jet ski didn't move to Nebraska or Pennsylvania with us).

Caleb is active with the volunteer fire department in Cookeville. He is so grown up!

My parent's cat, Olive, has such a fun personality and is very affectionate.

Fall has arrived in East Tennessee! The leaves are bright shades of red, yellow and orange. It's still warm (it was in the 80's today) but it cools off nicely in the evening. I am really enjoying the weather and wish I could spend more time outdoors.

Jake and I have gotten to go to a few UT football games which has been fun.
