Girls Weekend

A few weeks ago I got to spend the weekend with Becca, Amy and Ruthie - a few of my favorite people! They came in from D.C., Columbus and Pittsburgh and I was soo glad to see them! Jake was out of town for the youth group winter retreat, so it was truly a girls weekend!

We spent most of the weekend talking and daydreaming about Amy and Joel's upcoming wedding and it was a great opportunity for all of us to try on Bridesmaid dresses!! Can't wait for their special day!

After trying on bridesmaids dresses we went shopping in Bethlehem. 

The girls loved "The Bookstore" - a speakeasy in Bethlehem that feels like it's from right out of the prohibition era in the 1920's. You walk in and are surrounded by books, but then the host takes you behind a curtain to the bar area. The candlelight, decor and live jazz music make you feel like you've stepped back into time. The menus are even pasted inside of old encyclopedias.
