Christmas at the Kissel's

I was so excited to hang stockings and do a Christmas mantel since we didn't have a fireplace or a mantel at our house in Pennsylvania last year.

I bought a huge roll of contractor's paper from Lowes instead of buying Christmas wrapping paper because it is much less expensive and I love the look of "brown paper packages", plus, you can dress up the package for any occasion, not just Christmas. Well....the paper is a little thicker than wrapping paper so I ended up having to use my hot glue gun instead of scotch tape. It was a labor of love...

Jake and I had a Holiday Housewarming Party a few weeks ago. We love any excuse that have a party! The Hubby was out of town the entire week before the party so I enjoyed spending my weekday evenings listening to Christmas music and cooking/baking for the party. We took a few pictures before the party, but I completely forgot to take pictures during the party...

Zach, Catherine and Mallory came! We love spending time with our little niece!

Gotta love the Hubs in a Christmas sweater!

Alice has made a little friend...the neighbor's cats are always sitting at our windows by the front door to see the new cat in the neighborhood...

Merry Christmas!
